- Prime Cable Industries is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of a wide range of cables and conductors. Its product portfolio includes low-voltage (up to 1.1 KV) control cables, power cables, aerial bunch cables, instrumentation cables, housing and building wires, and conductors.
- The company operates two manufacturing facilities located in Narela, Delhi, and Alwar, Rajasthan, where all production activities are carried out. The orders are received from both government and non-government clients through direct procurement, vendor approval processes, and open or limited tenders.
- Prime Cable Industries supplies its products to a diverse customer base that includes major engineering–procurement–construction (EPC) companies, electricity boards, and public sector undertakings involved in power generation, transmission, and distribution. It also serves industries such as oil and gas, mining, steel, real estate, and electric panel manufacturing.
- Use of proceeds:
- The IPO consists of both a fresh issue of shares and an offer for sale (OFS). Proceeds from the OFS will go to the respective selling shareholders, whereas the net proceeds from the fresh issue will be utilised for the following purposes:
- For establishing a new manufacturing facility for medium voltage (up to 33 KV) cables and covered conductors - Rs 14.45 crore.
- For repaying or prepaying outstanding borrowings availed by the company - Rs 4.47 crore.
- For fulfilling the company’s working capital requirements - Rs 7.05 crore.
- General corporate purposes.
