Tata Motors Q4 Results 2025: Record Revenue Despite Headwinds; Dividend ₹6 Per Share Declared

Tata Motors has declared its financial results for Q4 for the year ended 31st March 2025. The company has witnessed a year-on-year decline of 51.2% in the consolidated net profit, reaching ₹8,556 crores for Q4. This drop was mainly because of a high base effect as Q4 FY24 included a significant deferred tax benefit.

- The operating performance of the company dropped with EBITDA decreasing by 4.1% to reach ₹16,700 crores.
- However, EBIT rose to ₹11,500 crores in Q4 FY25, up by ₹1,000 crores as compared to the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, thus indicating strong core profitability.

- In spite of several macroeconomic headwinds and uncertainties in the geopolitical aspect, Tata Motors is anticipating resilience in the global premium vehicle segment as well as Indian domestic markets.
- Group CFO P.B. Balaji noted that FY 2024-25 was a landmark year as the company posted its highest-ever consolidated revenue of ₹4.39 lakh crores.
- Tata Motors’ PBT (before exceptional items) increased to ₹34,300 crores.
- Net profit of the company stood at ₹28,100 crores.
- The Group turned net cash positive in the auto segment, with a ₹1,000 crore surplus by the end of March 2025. These gains were mainly driven by many improvements in commercial vehicle margins and lower interest costs.
- The company’s board has recommended a final dividend of ₹6 per share for the financial year ended 31st March 2025. However, this dividend is subject to shareholder approval.
