Stocks to Watch Today: 29th April 2025

  1. UCO Bank: Net profit of UCO Bank rose to reach ₹652.43 crore against ₹525.77 crore, while net interest income stood at ₹2,698 crore against ₹2,187 crore YoY. Analysts have a positive outlook for UCO Bank shares for the near term as well as the long term. 
  2. DMART: DMART or Avenue Supermarts has launched a new store in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. Total DMart stores now reached 418 as of 29th April 2025. DMART’s expansion has built investors’ confidence in the Avenue Supermart share price. 
  3. Wipro: Wipro wins 5-year IT transformation engagement with Vorwerk, a top European direct sales company. 
  4. IOL Chemicals: IOL Chemicals received approval from China’s Centre for Drug Evaluation (CDE) for Ibuprofen. 
  5. CESC: CESC signs a power purchase agreement (PPA) for a 300 MW wind-solar hybrid project at a tariff of ₹3.81/kWh with Bhojraj Renewables Energy. This PPA may contribute to increasing the renewable energy footprints of CESC across the country. 
  6. Indian Hotels: Indian Hotels and BNW Developments unveil 342-key Taj Wellington Mews in Ras Al-Khaimah. 
  7. RBL Bank: RBL Bank’s net profit for the fourth quarter faced a sharp decline of 80.50% to reach ₹68.70 crore from the base figure of ₹352.60 crore. Other income of RBL Bank Limited surges to ₹1,000 crore from ₹875 crore in the previous quarter.
