This announcement came after the departure of Pieter Elbers, previous CEO of the airline. He departed on March 10 after a hard period that included mass flight cancellations in December 2025, after which IndiGo appointed William Walsh as its new CEO.<\/p><p>Following the new CEO, William Walsh, he is currently the Director General of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
