The company\u2019s loss for this quarter stood at \u20b923 crores excluding these exceptional items.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n<li>However, it is expected that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/terms\/e\/esop.asp\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ESOP<\/a> expenses will be significantly lower from Q1 FY26 onwards, with an estimate of \u20b975-100 crores compared to \u20b9169 crores in the previous quarter, Q4 FY25.<\/li>\n\n<li>The company\u2019s consolidated revenue from operations in the reported quarter was \u20b91,911.5 crores, reflecting a year-on-year decrease of 15.7% from \u20b92,267.1 crores in Q4 FY24.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n<li>Despite such a decline in the annual revenue, the revenue in Q4 witnessed an increase of about 5% as compared to \u20b91,828 crores in the previous quarter of 2025.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n<li>The operating revenue of the company stood at \u20b91911 crores. This was primarily driven by an increase in the revenue from financial services and UPI incentives for the financial year 2024-25.<\/li>\n\n<li>EBITDA before ESOP costs for the quarter decreased year-on-year by 21% from \u20b9102 crores to reach \u20b981 crores. However, this reflects a substantial quarter-on-quarter improvement, increasing by \u20b9121 crores.<\/li>\n\n<li>Net payment margin, inclusive of the UPI incentives, stood at \u20b9578 crores. Excluding these UPI incentives, the net payment margin witnessed a 4% growth, reaching \u20b9508 crores.<\/li>\n\n<li>Total expenses of the company dropped by 20% to reach \u20b92,154.9 crores, down from \u20b92,691.4 crores in the year-ago period.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n<li>As of 7th May 2025, the stock is trading at a price of 885.70, indicating an 8.69% surge after the loss narrowing was posted.<\/li><\/ul><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Paytms_Future_Growth_Strategies\"><\/span><strong>Paytm\u2019s Future Growth Strategies&nbsp;<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Paytm aims to grow its revenue from high-margin financial services by expanding the product offerings, coupled with strategic partnerships.<\/li>\n\n<li>The company has also made growth plans to strengthen the merchant payment ecosystem through consistent innovations in the payment instruments.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n<li>Moreover, the company is also exploring its potential to diversify in international markets by tapping into some geographies.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Final_Thoughts\"><\/span><strong>Final Thoughts<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2><p>Paytm\u2019s parent company, One 97 Communications, is making consistent efforts to improve its financial standing through strategic measures and international expansion opportunities.
