Jio Platforms shareholders include Reliance Industries with 66.43%, Meta’s affiliate Jaadhu Holdings with 9.98% and Google International with 7.73%, so Reliance does not own 100% of Jio Platforms, according to the draft prospectus. Seven other investors each hold between 1.16% and 2.31%, namely Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, KKR, Vista Equity, Silver Lake, Mubadala, General Atlantic and an ADIA-linked trust, and the ten holders at or above 1% together hold about 97.3%. The IPO is a fresh issue of up to 27 crore shares with no offer for sale, so no existing investor is selling, and if the full issue is sold Reliance would fall to about 64.5% (my calculation). These figures are pre-issue and come from the draft prospectus, so the final post-issue pattern, price band and lock-in details will appear in the final prospectus.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
