Astra Microwave shares jump 12% after winning a Rs 2,200 crore order from HAL for 122 AAAUs and 121 interface frames for the Uttam Radar programme.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Astra Microwave share price jumped as much as 12% in today’s trade after the company announced it had won an order worth Rs 2,200 crore from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). In an exchange filing, Astra Microwave<\/a> said the order covers the procurement of 122 Advanced Airborne Active Array Units (AAAUs) and 121 interface frames for the Uttam Radar programme.<\/p>\n

The scale of the order relative to Astra Microwave’s existing size explains the sharp Astra Microwave share price reaction, since a single Rs 2,200 crore win materially expands the company’s order book and provides multi-year revenue visibility in the defence electronics space.<\/p>\n
