Nifty Auto led sector gainers, up 1.6 percent, with Oil and Gas and Consumer Durables also outperforming, while Realty cracked over 2 percent to lead the losers alongside Chemicals.<\/p>\n
It was a heavy Q1 FY27 earnings day, with over 100 companies reporting. Mahindra and Mahindra jumped 2.26 percent as profit rose 33.6 percent to Rs 5,455 crore, while KPIT Technologies slumped 7.46 percent as profit fell 32 percent on soft European demand.
