Nifty Pharma index up 0.3% on 8 Jul 2026. Zydus Life up 1.14% at Rs 1,166.20, Dr Reddys up 0.9% at Rs 1,366.80. Ajanta Pharma, Torrent Pharma, Cipla, Sun Pharma also gain.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Nifty Pharma index rose 0.3 percent in intraday trade on Wednesday, 8 July 2026, standing out as one of the few sectors in the green even as the broader market traded weak on global cues. Zydus Life, Dr Reddy’s Lab and Ajanta Pharma were among the top contributors to the index gain.<\/p>\n

Zydus Life led the pharma pack with a 1.14 percent gain to Rs 1,166.20, followed by Dr Reddy’s Labs which rose 0.9 percent to Rs 1,366.80, as the Nifty Pharma index attracted buying interest amid the broader selloff.<\/p>\n
