The Nifty Midcap 100 index<\/strong> shed 0.6 percent on 7 July 2026, trading at 22,865.60, down 107.75 points, with Kalyan Jewellers leading the decline, down 6.06 percent, followed by BSE Limited, down 3.94 percent, and MCX India, down 3.91 percent.<\/p>\n

The broad list of losers spans jewellery, exchanges, capital goods, telecom infrastructure and renewable energy stocks, showing the pressure was not confined to any single sector within the midcap universe.<\/p>\n
