Nifty IT index up 1.17% at 27,596.90 on 7 July 2026. LTIMindtree +2.2%, Infosys +2.1%, HCL Tech +1.8% lead gainers. All 10 index heavyweights trade in the green ahead of Q1 earnings.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Nifty IT index<\/a><\/strong> gained over 1 percent on 7 July 2026, outperforming the broader market as buying interest returned to technology stocks ahead of the Q1 FY27 earnings season. The index was trading at 27,596.90 at 9:36 AM, up 320.45 points or 1.17 percent, after opening at 27,248.30 and touching an intraday high of 27,769.70.<\/p>\n

LTIMindtree led the charge with a gain of over 2.2 percent, followed by Infosys, which rose about 2.1 percent, and HCL Tech, up nearly 1.8 percent. Every constituent of the index traded in positive territory in the opening hour, a rare breadth signal for the sector.<\/p>\n
