Sudeep Pharma shares: Rs 1,016.90 on 13 Oct 2026, about 71.5% above the Rs 593 issue price (my calculation); the headline says nearly 75%. ICICI Securities keeps Hold and raises its target to Rs 1,000, about 1.7% below the price (my calculation). P/E about 99, P/B about 14, market cap about Rs 11,486 crore. 52-week range Rs 524.95 to Rs 1,376.
Quick Answer
Sudeep Pharma shares have climbed about 71% to 75% above their issue price of Rs 593, but ICICI Securities keeps its Hold rating and raises its target price to Rs 1,000, which is slightly below the Rs 1,016.90 price on 13 October. The brokerage says expectations for the emerging battery materials business are already reflected in the valuation, which is about 99 times trailing earnings and 14 times book value. The Q1 FY27 results were solid, with revenue up about 27% and profit up about 30%, and the battery customer funnel has widened to eight lithium iron phosphate customers. Shareholders can hold for the long term, but the target below the market price signals limited near term upside.
Sudeep Pharma makes pharma and food ingredients, and the story behind Sudeep Pharma shares is its expansion into materials for lithium iron phosphate batteries. The company listed in November 2025 at a premium to its issue price and has since risen sharply, though it remains about 26% below its 52-week high of Rs 1,376 (my calculation).
This guide explains the ICICI Securities view on Sudeep Pharma shares, the valuation, the Q1 results, the battery plan and the risks. Where I calculate a figure myself, I label it.
A target below the market price does not mean Sudeep Pharma shares must fall, but it tells you the brokerage sees the story as fully priced.

Sudeep Pharma Shares: Price, Valuation and the ICICI Securities Target
| Item | Level | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Share price (13 Oct) | Rs 1,016.90 | Down 0.39%; day range Rs 981.45 to Rs 1,030.50 |
| Issue price | Rs 593 | Upper end of the Rs 563 to Rs 593 price band |
| Gain over issue price | About 71.5% | My calculation; headline says nearly 75% |
| ICICI Securities rating and target price | Hold, Rs 1,000 | About 1.7% below Rs 1,016.90 (my calculation) |
| 52-week range | Rs 524.95 to Rs 1,376 | About 26% below the high (my calculation) |
| Market capitalisation | About Rs 11,486 crore | |
| P/E and P/B | About 99 and 14 | Trailing |
| ROE and ROCE | 17.7% and 20.8% | |
| Promoter holding | 76.15% | September 2026; none pledged |
The nearly 75% gain in the headline implies a price near Rs 1,038 (my calculation), so Sudeep Pharma shares have dipped a little since the report. The target of Rs 1,000 is raised from an earlier level that I could not find, and the full ICICI Securities report was not available to me.
Risk: At about 99 times earnings, Sudeep Pharma shares need very fast profit growth to hold the current price.

Q1 FY27 Results and the Battery Materials Business
| Item | Q1 FY27 | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Revenue | Rs 158.3 crore | Up about 27% from Rs 124.9 crore |
| EBITDA | Rs 54.9 crore | Margin 34.7% |
| Net profit | Rs 40.6 crore | Up about 30% from Rs 31.3 crore |
| Pharma, food and nutrition | 69% of revenue | Up about 30% |
| Specialty ingredients | 31% of revenue | Up about 19% |
| Battery customer funnel | 8 lithium iron phosphate customers | Up from 6; 21 at lab validation, 16 at pilot, 7 past commercial validation |
| Strategic MOUs | 2 with South Korean cathode and cell partners |
Management targets an EBITDA margin of 37% to 38% and expects the Navsari greenfield facility to receive FDA approval in Q2 FY27, with commercial supplies from Q3 FY27. Q1 was hurt by an LPG supply disruption and a rise of about 50% in phosphoric acid prices, which management expects price increases to offset.
Bisglycinate sales in Q1 already exceeded the full FY26 total, but management says it will not be a material contributor in FY27. For Sudeep Pharma shares, the battery materials business is at an early stage, with capex and revenue timing not disclosed in the summary I found.
Risk: The battery materials plan depends on customer approvals and binding orders, so delays would hit the story that supports Sudeep Pharma shares.

What Should Shareholders Do With Sudeep Pharma Shares?
| Investor type | Points to consider |
|---|---|
| Long term holder | Business growth is strong and promoter holding is 76.15%, but Sudeep Pharma shares carry a high valuation |
| Investor in profit | A gain of about 71% over the issue price may justify booking part of it, as a personal choice |
| New buyer | ICICI Securities sees the price as full, so a pullback or proof of battery orders would reduce risk |
The FY26 numbers on one page conflict, with standalone net sales of Rs 338.51 crore and consolidated revenue of Rs 642.30 crore. On the consolidated profit of Rs 174.20 crore, the valuation is about 66 times earnings (my calculation), lower than the 99 times on the trailing figure, so check which basis a source uses.
Debt also differs, at Rs 124.93 crore in one table and Rs 34.29 crore in the balance sheet. Either way, debt is small against the Rs 11,486 crore market cap.
Risk: A fall below the Rs 981 intraday low of 13 October could trigger a deeper correction in Sudeep Pharma shares.
